Location: Off-Site (Colombis, OH; Dayton, OH; Fort Belvoir, VA; New Cumberland, PA; Ogden, UT; Philadelphia, PA; Richmond, VA)

Clearance: SECRET 

IAT/IT Level: IT-II & IAT II

The Senior Systems Administrator ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links. Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues. Provides end user training. Provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision. Will be required to provide both local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location. Support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications. Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance. Performs vulnerability management

 
Certifications: 
  • IAT-II Certifications (at least one of the following):

a. CCNA Security +

b. CSA +

C. GSEC 

d. Security + CE 

e. SSCP


  • Computing Environment Certification include but are not limited to at least 1 of the following:

a.     MCSE: Communication

b.     MCITP SA

c.     MCITP EA

 
 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Five (5) years of progressive experience working in a medium to large IT environment. 
  • Three (3) years of above experience in the integration and management of Windows application servers and the installation, configuration, and support of applications and devices.
  • Two (2) or more years’ experience with technical troubleshooting and hands-on experience with Microsoft Skype for Business
