Checking Off Your POA&M with Best of Microsoft Security Products (Webinar Recording Available)

Ben Curry (CISSP, Microsoft MVP) is business leader, author, and enterprise architect specializing Microsoft cloud technologies. Ben is a Managing Partner at Summit 7 Systems, a Microsoft Gold Cloud Productivity Partner helping mid-size to large organizations find new ways to succeed through the use of cutting edge cloud technologies. He spends most of his work-time innovating and problem-solving with clients in the areas of security, governance, information architecture, and compliance. Ben is honored to have received 11- Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) awards due to his investments in, both, the SharePoint and Office 365 community – along with championing transformational projects for several non-profits. He is passionate about helping others become better and this can be seen in his support for the Summit 7 Systems’ Redemption Projectand his numerous publications on Microsoft technologies. 



In Phil’s role as National Director, he is responsible for all public sector customers – spanning education, state/local government, and all Federal government – including all Department of Defense agencies. His role includes the product development roadmap, which encompasses the compliance and regulatory aspects of the product set (covering Windows/Devices/Mobility/Security). In addition, Phil is leading efforts to equip the Microsoft field sellers and partners to address the varied customer needs, especially around data privacy, security preparedness and threat response.

About Shawn Hays

Shawn is a communication and collaboration professional. Prior to Summit 7 Systems, Shawn excelled as a marketing and PR strategist – working within health care and public relations consulting. During his career, he has served as the sole business development manager of a small IT-centric government contracting business and as a publications lead within a large defense and aerospace company. He graduated from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with undergraduate degrees in Physics and Communications, and Tennessee Tech University's MBA program in 2017. It is this technical know-how and ability to convey various subject matters to, both, technical and non-technical audiences that brought him to Summit 7 Systems. In addition, Shawn is a super user of Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365, and possesses a high degree of ITIL process improvement experience.
